PFC is the Nodal agency for implementation of “Integrated Power development Scheme (IPDS)” (R-APDRP subsumed), a priority scheme of Ministry of Power, Govt. of India for Urban Power Distribution sector of the Country. The salient features of IPDS Organogram are as below:

The IPDS Unit works under overall supervision and guidance of CMD (PFC) Sh. Ravinder Singh Dhillon and the Board of Directors of PFC.

The Unit is headed by ED (IPDS) and supported by a team of 30 executives comprising of domain experts from PFC as well as NTPC. The team is actively involved in implementation and monitoring of IPDS (including subsumed R-APDRP) and is continuously working towards Enhanced Power reliability, Reduction in AT&C loss & Better Consumer connect in Urban areas across the country.

The work of the team is divided into a number of functional domains viz. Funding, Project Monitoring, Technical coordination etc and each of the officers are assigned roles according to their expertise. A functional Organogram of IPDS unit is available at Annexure-A.

In addition to the specific functional tasks, each officer is designated as State Nodal Officer to monitor, facilitate, coordinate and handhold the State/ Utilities on various projects/ activities in the Urban Distribution sector. The details of State Nodal officers is available at Annexure-B.

To support the State Nodal officers, one officer is posted at each of the 5 Zonal offices for close coordination with States/ Utilities at field level. The details of Zonal Monitoring offices is available at Annexure-C.
